A red leaf sways in the wind

The moonlight shone down on us.

遠くの笛の音　御神楽太鼓

Tōku no fue no ne o-kagura taiko

In the distance, the sound of flute and festival drums.

ありふれた幸せは　

Arifureta shiawase wa

When I think, this commonplace happiness

思えばこんなに素敵でした

omoeba konna ni suteki deshita

was so wonderful.

いつか話そう　出会えた喜び

Itsuka hanasō deaeta yorokobi

Someday I'll tell you about the joy of meeting you.

淡い愛しさ　知らずにいた

Awai itoshisa shirazu ni ita

I never knew such fleeting love between us.

進んでゆくのも悪くないよ

susunde yuku no mo waruku nai yo

it's not so bad if I move forward.

今を漂い　願いよ届けと

Ima o tadayoi negai yo todoke to

Interrupted prayers simply pile up

絶えた祈りを　重ねるだけ

taeta inori o kasaneru dake

for my wish, drifting through the present, to reach you.
