ある日僕を照らしていた

One day, the light of the sun

太陽の光が消えた

taiyō no hikari ga kieta

that had illuminated me vanished.

僕は僕を見失って闇に消えた

boku wa boku o miushinatte yami ni kieta

I lost sight of myself and vanished in the dark.

ぐるぐる回る軌道線

guruguru mawaru kidōsen

Following the same orbit round and round

変わらない日々をすごし

kawaranai hibi o sugoshi

day after day nothing ever changed

自分ひとりで光るほど強くなかった

jibun hitori de hikaru hodo tsuyoku nakatta

and I wasn't strong enough to shine by myself.

傷だけは見せないようにと

kizu dake wa misenai yō ni to

So at least as not to show my wounds

強がりをしていた

tsuyogari o shite ita

I acted tough.

傷つかない強さなど

kizutsukanai tsuyosa nado

I didn't think of seeking

求めようと思わなかった

motomeyō to omowanakatta

a strength that doesn't hurt.

ある日僕を見守っていた

aru hi boku o mimamotte ita

One day, the stars of the sky

空の星が消えていった

sora no hoshi ga kiete itta

that watched over me went away.

気にした事も無かったのに

ki ni shita koto mo nakatta no ni

Although nothing bothered me,

寂しくなった

samishiku natta

I felt lonely.

残ったのは見つめ続けた

nokotta no wa mitsumetsuzuketa

What was left was a world glistening blue

蒼く輝く星だった

aoku kagayaku hoshi datta

at which I kept gazing.

強い僕のままでいれた

tsuyoi boku no mama de ireta

I was able to stay strong

たった一つの君だった

tatta hitotsu no kimi datta

when there was only one of you.

僕が廻り出した軌道線は

boku ga mawaridashita kidōsen wa

I'm sure the there was no mistake or anything

間違ってなんか無いはずさ

machigatte nanka nai hazu sa

in the orbit I started to follow,

今も隣に居る君だけは

ima mo tonari ni iru kimi dake wa

when even now, only you who are beside me

強い僕だけを見ていて

tsuyoi boku dake o mite ite

are watching only a stronger me.

I shine, and you, the blue world,

速度を上げ廻り出した

increased your speed and started to turn.

We make a sparkling sound.

僕自身が

boku jishin ga

I myself …

全てが音をたてる

subete ga oto o tateru

everything makes a sound.

僕が歌いだしたこの星は

boku ga utaidashita kono hoshi wa

This world I burst into song about

まだ暗いままだけれど

mada kurai mama dakeredo

is still dark, but

今も隣に居る君だけは

ima mo tonari ni iru kimi dake wa

only you who are beside me even now

強い僕だけを見ていて

tsuyoi boku dake o mite ite

keep watching a stronger me.

僕が描き出した軌道線は

boku ga egakidashita kidōsen wa

The orbit that I started to make

この先も続くだろう

kono saki mo tsuzuku darō

will doubtless continue into the future.

消えてしまった光の分も

kiete shimatta hikari no bun mo

For however much light ended up vanishing

僕は　強く　光るから

boku wa tsuyoku hikaru kara

is how much stronger I shine.
