この旅の行き着く先に

Kono tabi no ikitsuku saki ni

At the end of where this journey leads

何があるのか分からないけど

nani ga aru no ka wakaranai kedo

I have no idea what I'll find there,

どこまでも繋つながる道を

doko made mo tsunagaru michi o

but on this endless road,

迷いながら僕は歩いている

mayoinagara boku wa aruite iru

even as I lose my way, I walk on.

小さな鞄を背負って

Chiisana kaban o seotte

With a small bag on my back

自分の歩幅を気にしながら

jibun no hohaba o ki ni shinagara

I mind my step

通り過ぎてく人々の波に紛れてる

tōrisugite'ku hitobito no nami ni magirete'ru

as I get lost in the waves of people passing by.

空を見上げたら曇り空

Sora o miagetara kumorizora

When I looked up at the sky it was cloudy.

いつの間にか晴れ渡った

Itsunomanika harewatatta

Before I knew it it was crystal clear.

だけど気付いたら雨模様

Dakedo kizuitara amemoyō

But when I noticed, it looked like it was going to rain.

吹く風に髪を揺らす

Fuku kaze ni kami o yurasu

My hair gets blown in the wind.

移り変わる毎日に

Utsurikawaru mainichi ni

With each changing day,

夢や希望も薄れちゃって

yume ya kibō mo usurechatte

my dreams and hopes fade away,

涙こぼしながら

namida koboshinagara

and as I shed my tears

答えを探してたら躓いた

kotae o sagashitetara tsumazuita

I stumbled when I searched for answers.

Rakugaki de egakareta chizu

On the map I scrawled

右も左も分からないけど

migi mo hidari mo wakaranai kedo

I know neither left nor right,

どこまでも広がる道を

doko made mo hirogaru michi o

yet on this road that widens further and further,

ふらつきながら僕は歩いている

furatsukinagara boku wa aruite iru

I wander as I walk.

二人寄り添って歩く人

Futari yorisotte aruku hito

A person with whom I snuggle as we walk,

道の途中で立ち止まる人

michi no tochū de tachidomaru hito

people standing still along the way.

流れてく今日と明日の狭間で僕は歌う

Nagarete'ku kyō to ashita no hazama de boku wa utau

Between the flow of one day to the next, what I do is sing.

やっとやっと気付いたんだよ

Yatto yatto kizuita n da yo

Hey, finally, finally I've noticed

「頑張れ」君の一言に

“Ganbare” kimi no hitokoto ni

your single word of encouragement,

何時だってこんな僕を

itsu datte konna boku o

and that there's someone who'll keep on

見てくれる人がいる事に

mite kureru hito ga iru koto ni

watching out for a guy like me.

誰だって一人じゃないんだ

Dare datte hitori ja nai n da

No-one is alone.

僕だって一人じゃないんだ

Boku datte hitori ja nai n da

I'm not alone either.

守りたいって“モノ”があれば

Mamoritai tte “mono” ga areba

As long as there's “something” that I want to look after

僕はどこまでも強くなれるんだ

I'll be as strong as it takes.

Itsuka kono ashi ga tomaru made

Until the time comes when these legs of mine stop moving,

その先を目指して歩いていく

sono saki o mezashite aruite iku

I aim for where the journey leads and walk on.
