クイズ番組を真似て　問題を出し合ったり

We give each other questions like on a quiz show

すぐ飽きて　週末の予定立てたり

We soon get tired of it and make plans for the weekend

帰り道　最寄りのコンビニ入って

On the way home we go to the nearest convenience store

新発売のポップ　気になるねって

shinhatsubai no poppu ki ni naru ne tte

and talk about how we like the latest pop song

いつもの紙パック片手に　立ち止まってみれば

itsumo no kamipakku katate ni tachidomatte mireba

When we stop for a moment with the usual drink in hand

じゃんけんで決めよう　なんて笑いながら

janken de kimeyō nante warainagara

amidst laughter we make decisions by rock-paper-scissors

こんな日がいつまでも　続いていくようにと

We think like these days would go on forever

渡り廊下の手すり　もたれかかって

We lean against the railing in the corridor

納得がいくまで　話してみようって

and talk it out until we all agree

色んなすれ違い達を　ぶつけて確かめたり

We often clash yet work things out

肩を組んで泣き笑い　謝ったり

With arms around each other's shoulders we smile through tears and apologize

河川敷　歩きながら振り返って

As we walk along the river we look back

進路希望　提出しなくちゃねって

saying we have to make plans for when we finish school

白紙のままの届を　鞄に詰め込みながら

While stuffing blank forms in our school bags

影踏みしよう　なんておどけてみせてた

we joke around by playing shadow tag
