Bathed in the scent of cherry blossoms

スタートラインに立っている

I stand at the starting line.

もうすぐ始まる新しい　

mō sugu hajimaru atarashii

It's about to start,

世界がボクを待っている

sekai ga boku o matte iru

a new world waiting for me.

過ごした数々の思い出　

sugoshita kazukazu no omoide

Firmly in my heart I hold onto

この胸にしっかり抱きしめ

kono mune ni shikkari dakishime

the many precious memories of times I've had

大切に忘れないように　

taisetsu ni wasurenai yō ni

so I won't forget them.

これからも過ごしていくんだ

korekara mo sugoshite iku n da

There's even more to come.

怖い事も沢山あるし　

kowai koto mo takusan aru shi

There's much to be scared of

不安なことだってあるけど

fuan na koto datte aru kedo

and worrying things too,

今まで歩いてきた道が　

ima made aruite kita michi ga

but the path I've taken so far

きっと助けてくれるから

kitto tasukete kureru kara

will surely help me.

and dance at the main door to spring.

I'm beginning to paint

物語を描き始める

monogatari o egakihajimeru

the start of a new story.

これまで描いてきた未来　

koremade egaite kita mirai

The future I've painted so far,

憧れてた気持ちもみんな

akogarete'ta kimochi mo minna

all my feelings of hope,

少しずつ近付いてきた　

sukoshi zutsu chikazuite kita

are coming closer bit by bit.

これからも追いかけていこう

korekara mo oikakete ikō

I'll keep on chasing them.

平らな道でなかったけど　

taira na michi de nakatta kedo

The road isn't flat

これまで乗り越えてきたんだ

koremade norikoete kita n da

but I've overcome it so far.

道は険しいかもしれない　

michi wa kewashii ka mo shirenai

The road may be steep.

だけど諦めたくないから

dakedo akirametaku nai kara

However, I don't want to give up.
