目覚めたのは何も無い世界

mezameta no wa nani mo nai sekai

When I awoke the world was empty,

荒れ狂った最初の朝

arekurutta saisho no asa

the first chaotic morning

誰もが皆逃げ惑うだけさ

daremo ga mina nigemadou dake sa

Everyone one and all merely try to flee

本当は全てを手に入れていた筈だけど

hontō wa subete o te ni irete ita hazu dakedo

though in truth one would think they possessed it all

可能性が混ざり合う世界は

kanōsei ga mazariau sekai wa

A world with all sorts of possibilities

巨大な実験場のように稼働し始めてる

kyodai na jikkenjō no yō ni kadō shihajimete'ru

begins to operate like a huge testing site

あなたは何故この僕を作った？

anata wa naze kono boku o tsukutta?

Why did you make someone like me?

僕に何を作らせる気だった？

boku ni nani o tsukuraseru ki datta?

What did you plan for me to make?

置き去りにされた心臓達が

okizari ni sareta shinzō-tachi ga

When hearts left behind

ようやく目を覚ました頃

yōyaku me o samashita koro

finally opened their eyes,

張りぼての命は光を待った

haribote no inochi wa hikari o matta

a sham life waited for the light

あるいは一抹の声を待った

aruiwa ichimatsu no koe o matta

Or maybe it waited for a hint of a voice

歪に彷徨さまよう存在達が

ibitsu ni samayou sonzai-tachi ga

Beings that wander irregularly

不完全な足跡を残してる

fukanzen na ashiato o nokoshite'ru

are leaving behind imperfect footprints

造物主が笑って描いていく覚醒の空

zōbutsushu ga waratte egaite iku kakusei no sora

The Creator smiles and paints an awakening sky

目覚めたのは果てし無い世界

mezameta no wa hateshinai sekai

When I awoke the world was boundless

機械のような精密な星

kikai no yō na seimitsu na hoshi

with mechanically precise stars

時を刻む電球の太陽

toki o kizamu denkyū no taiyō

An electric light for the sun beats the time

本当は全てが偽物だと知ってたけど

hontō wa subete ga nisemono da to shitte'ta kedo

though in truth I knew all of it was fake

もがいて生んだ成果砕けても

mogaite unda seika kudakete mo

Though the fruit I struggled to give birth to shatters

微細な良心を満たす為にまた積み上げていく

bisai na ryōshin o mitasu tame ni mata tsumiagete iku

in order to satisfy a smidgen of a conscience I go on building

思いはいつしか言葉となった

omoi wa itsushika kotoba to natta

Before I knew it thoughts became words

言葉はただ幻を作った

kotoba wa tada maboroshi o tsukutta

Words merely produced illusions

幻を知った囚人達が

maboroshi o shitta shūjin-tachi ga

When prisoners who discovered the illusions

天使を見間違えた頃

tenshi o mimachigaeta koro

mistook them for angels

それだけが明日の希望となった

sore dake ga ashita no kibō to natta

they became the only hope for tomorrow

希望はそれだけで意味を持った

kibō wa sore dake de imi o motta

Hope was enough to possess meaning

次の世界に焦がれ今日もまた

tsugi no sekai ni kogare kyō mo mata

Longing for the next world, again today

未完成の扉を叩いてる

mikansei no tobira o tataite'ru

they're knocking on the incomplete doorway

造物主が嗤って描いていく剥製の空

zōbutsushu ga waratte egaite iku hakusei no sora

The Creator smiles and paints a taxidermic sky

あなたは今この僕を作った

anata wa ima kono boku o tsukutta

Right now you made someone like me

所詮偶然の産物だった

shosen gūzen no sanbutsu datta

I was a serendipitous creation after all

答えを見つけた人間達が

kotae o mitsuketa ningen-tachi ga

When human beings who found an answer

浮世を歩き出した頃

ukiyo o arukidashita koro

started walking through this world of grief,

朧げな夢は現実となった

oboroge na yume wa genjitsu to natta

vague dreams became reality

世界中がその先を目指した

sekaijū ga sono saki o mezashita

The entire world aimed for what would happen next

鎖を脱いで辿り着く先は

kusari o nuide tadoritsuku saki wa

They're praying that taking off their chains finally leads

世界の完成だと祈ってる

sekai no kansei da to inotte'ru

to the perfection of the world

世界は明日も廻る

The world turns again tomorrow
