土砂降りの空の下

Doshaburi no sora no shita

Beneath the downpour from the sky

ただ一人佇たたずむ

I just stand still by myself.

長い時間が過ぎた

Nagai jikan ga sugita

A long time has passed.

雨は僕の心に降り続く

Ame wa boku no kokoro ni furitsuzuku

The rain continues to fall in my heart.

冷え切ったこの街で

Hiekitta kono machi de

In this freezing town

続く雨を恐れる

tsuzuku ame o osoreru

I fear the continuing rain.

望みなどは消え失せて

Nozomi nado wa kieusete

All my hopes and desires have vanished

雨粒の波紋が広がってゆく

amatsubu no hamon ga hirogatte yuku

and the ripples from the raindrops go on spreading.

きっとすぐに晴れるよね

Kitto sugu ni hareru yo ne

Surely it will soon clear up, right?

will one day carry with them a blue sky
