Individualism gives rise to malcontent

I neatly record it in the journal

「世界が嫌い」とわめく歌に、

To a song that shouts, "The world is awful"

不覚にも重ね合わす自分

fukaku ni mo kasaneawasu jibun

I unintentionally align myself.

タイムラインに溢れてくデマゴーグ

Demagogues are abundant in the timeline

報告しても鳴り止まない

Though they make announcements, they don't stop their noise

A debate I saw on the English news,

Words aren't typically enough to make a person change

僕の役割なんかみんな気にしていない

もっと大人になればみんな気づくのだろうか
