帰り道　手に握った手紙

Kaerimichi te ni nigitta tegami

On my way home I held a letter in my hand

with messy black writing.

「サンタさん、僕は

"Dear Santa, I'll be

良い子にして待ってるから」

a good boy and wait for you."

幼い時　信じていたあの人に

I grew up never getting to meet

会えないまま　大人になった

the person I believed in when I was little.

通りの端にあるおもちゃ屋へ

If I go to the shop at the end of the street

手紙を握りしめ扉を開ければ

holding the letter tight and open the door

燃える暖炉が暖める

a fireplace blazes warmly.

秘密のひとときが待っている

A secret time awaits.

The shop at the end of the street
