Our light is fading,

粉々に砕けた欠片の宙そら

a sky of broken fragments.

いつか見たあの風景は

Itsuka mita ano fūkei wa

What I once saw

二度と叶わないけど

nidoto kanawanai kedo

will never be granted to me again.

今ここに残った　ただ一つ

Ima koko ni nokotta tada hitotsu

Yet, remaining here, just one

小さな花たちの生命いのちの種

chiisana hana-tachi no inochi no tane

small seed of the life of these flowers.

あなたを想い抱きしめる

Anata o omoi dakishimeru

Thinking of you, I embrace you

強く、願いを込めて

tsuyoku, negai o komete

tightly and make a wish …

無数の惑星ほしに新しい

musū no hoshi ni atarashii

… that in the numberless stars

生命いのちが芽吹くように

inochi ga mebuku yō ni

a new life will bud,

itsuka anata ni aeru to

that my wish that I can meet you someday

想い、届くように

omoi, todoku yō ni

will reach you.

Sora ni hitotsu, ā mata hitotsu

In the sky, one after the other

生まれ落ちて、流されて消えてゆく

umare ochite, nagasarete kiete yuku

they are born, they fall, they are sent away and vanish.

僕たちは　ただ永遠の

Bokutachi wa tada eien no

We are merely moving

光と闇の中　巡ってゆく

hikari to yami no naka megutte yuku

in an eternal cycle of light and dark.

最後に見た顔は　くしゃくしゃに

Saigo ni mita kao wa kushakusha ni

Your face at the end looked dishevelled,

涙で滲んでた　笑顔でした

namida de nijindeta egao deshita

a smiling face running with tears.

Anata no me ni anata no koe

I will surely never forget

kitto wasurenai kara

Yakusoku o shimashō tsugi no yo ni

The small seed swaying in the sky
