優しい光の露

a gentle dew of light.

夜空に散った星へ届かず

Yozora ni chitta hoshi e todokazu

Instead of reaching the stars scattered in the night sky,

靴を脱ぎ捨て　砂浜蹴って

kutsu o nugisute sunahama kette

I cast off my shoes and kick the sandy beach

波を追いかけ裸足でかける

nami o oikake hadashi de kakeru

and, chasing the waves, I run barefoot

水面みなもに映る星のもとへと

minamo ni utsuru hoshi no moto e to

to the stars reflected on the water.

空から逃げた星が降りていく

Sora kara nigeta hoshi ga orite yuku

Stars fleeing the sky descend

揺らめく鏡の世界へと

yurameku kagami no sekai e to

to a world that is a flickering mirror.

夜の波を走る僕はまるで

Yoru no nami o hashiru boku wa marude

Running through the waves at night,

空から逃げた星のよう

sora kara nigeta hoshi no yō

I am just like the stars fleeing the sky.

夜に溶ける涙

Yoru ni tokeru namida

Tears that dissolve into the night

揺れる鏡の向こう

yureru kagami no mukō

beyond the quivering mirror.

離れる空　届かない手

Hanareru sora todokanai te

Hands that do not reach the distant sky,

星は遥か遠く

hoshi wa haruka tōku

the stars so far away.

静かな浜辺　足跡つかず

Shizuka na hamabe ashiato tsukazu

On the quiet beach I leave no footprints.

波の軌跡を　辿る瞳に

nami no kiseki o tadoru hitomi ni

As my eyes follow the tracks of the waves

溢れる涙　僕の映らない

afureru namida boku no utsuranai

the tears that well up stir the fake stars

水面みなもの星の虚像を揺らす

minamo no hoshi no kyozō o yurasu

on the surface of the water in which I am not reflected.

空に瞬く星に触れられず

Sora ni matataku hoshi ni furerarezu

Unable to touch the stars that twinkle in the sky

行き場をなくした指先に

yukiba o nakushita yubisaki ni

my fingertips have lost their way.

光る涙の雫はまるで

hikaru namida no shizuku wa marude

Teardrops that glisten on them

空に瞬く星のよう

sora ni matataku hoshi no yō

are just like the stars that twinkle in the sky.

風に揺れる涙

Kaze ni yureru namida

Tears that sway in the wind,

闇を照らす光

yami o terasu hikari

lights that light up the dark.

ぬくもりさえ　感じられず

Nukumori sae kanjirarezu

Unable to sense any warmth

希望　深く沈む

kibō fukaku shizumu

my hopes sink deeply.

暗闇の世界に溶ける

Kurayami no sekai ni tokeru

As they dissolve into the world of darkness,

涙だけ光をまとう

namida dake hikari o matou

only my tears put on light.

空のない僕に届けよう

Sora no nai boku ni todokeyō

I'll send them to myself, the one with no sky,

涙星　輝くように

namidaboshi kagayaku yō ni

like sparkling tear-stars.
