近所の幽霊 ♥ Kinjo no Yūrei ♥ Neighbourhood Ghosts

冬の夜の帰り道　

fuyu no yoru no kaerimichi

When I was walking home

一人で歩いてたら

hitori de aruite'tara

alone on a winter's night,

足許の浮いた女の霊が

ashimoto no uita onna no rei ga

a female ghost floating off her feet

こっちに飛んできた

kotchi ni tonde kita

flew towards me.

逃げたけど　追い詰められた

nigeta kedo oitsumerareta

I fled but I was chased and cornered.

命乞いをしてみたら

inochigoi o shite mitara

When I tried begging for my life,

「腕手無いね♡」と言い遺して

"ude te nai ne" to iinokoshite

she left me with the words "I've no arms or hands, hey?"

それは何処どこかへ消えた

sore wa dokoka e kieta

and vanished somewhere.

面白くなって　探してみた

omoshiroku natte sagashite mita

Fascinated, I tried looking for her

街灯も眠ってる　この街を

gaitō mo nemutte'ru kono machi o

around town where even the street light were asleep.

途方に暮れて　家に帰ると

tohō ni kurete ie ni kaeru to

Perplexed, I went home,

トイレで寝ていました

toire de nete imashita

whereupon I went to sleep in the toilet.

雪の残る通学路　

yuki no nokoru tsūgakuro

On the way to school, the road covered by residual snow

まだ日は上らなくて

mada hi wa noboranakute

and the sun still to rise,

薄暗い道の曲がり角　

usugurai michi no magarikado

on a street corner in the gloom

誰かとぶつかりました

dareka to butsukarimashita

I bumped into someone.

その人は貫通して　

sono hito wa kantsū shite

While passing right through me,

呟きつつ消えてった

tsubuyakitsutsu kiete'tta

this person vanished while muttering,

「ぶつかるならパン咥えとけ」

"butsukaru nara pan kuwaet'oke"

"If you're going to bump into me, have a piece of bread in your mouth!"

はぁ？意味がわからないよ･･･

hā? imi ga wakaranai yo …

Huh? I don't get what it means …

あれは　お化け？　それか　気の所為？

are wa obake? sore ka kinosei?

Was it a ghost? Or was it my imagination?

遅刻ギリギリの　あの丁字路

chikoku girigiri no ano teijiro

I was barely on time at the T-junction.

誰かとぶつかって　みたいかも･･･

dareka to butsukatte mitai ka mo …

Maybe she wanted to try bumping into someone …

ほら　授業は上の空

hora jugyō wa uwanosora

I couldn't pay attention in class.
