月影も届かない　

Tsukikage mo todokanai

I walk a deep, white forest

白く深い森を行く

shiroku fukai mori o yuku

that even moonlight cannot reach

落ちていく雫に　

ochite yuku shizuku ni

while I cast my recollections

追憶を映しながら

tsuioku o utsushinagara

onto falling drops.

星屑を溶かした　

Hoshikuzu o tokashita

A lamp that melted star dust

ランプが私の影を揺らし

ranpu ga watashi no kage o yurashi

makes my shadow sway,

聞こえない言葉は　

kikoenai kotoba wa

as inaudible words

いつか虚空に消えていく

itsuka kokū ni kiete yuku

eventually vanish into emptiness.

移ろう時を歩んで　

Utsurou toki o ayunde

Treading a time of change,

縺れた糸を解いていこう

motsureta ito o toite yukō

I'll go on untying tangled threads

滲む文字が記したもの　

Nijimu moji ga shirushita mono

What blurry letters have inscribed

たった一つの記憶

tatta hitotsu no kioku

is a single memory.

透き通る水鏡　

Sukitōru mizukagami

A surface of crystal clear water

華やぐ幻想を映し

hanayagu gensō o utsushi

reflects a brilliant illusion.

蒼い羽根さえも　

aoi hane sae mo

Are even pale feathers

閉じ込めてしまうの？

tojikomete shimau no?

locked up inside?

枯れ草を踏みしめ　

Karekusa o fumishime

I trample the dried up grass

重い霧の森を行く

omoi kiri no mori o yuku

as I walk through the forest thick with mist

黄昏を浮かべた　

tasogare o ukabeta

in the direction shown by the needle

羅針の示した方へ

rashin no shimeshita hō e

of the compass which reflects the dusk.

いくつも時を刻んで　

Ikutsumo toki o kizande

While spending much time

幾度もこの手を伸ばしながら

ikudomo kono te o nobashinagara

and reaching out my hand many times,

涙の果て願ったのは　

namida no hate negatta no wa

what I wished for at the end of my tears

たった一つの記憶

tatta hitotsu no kioku

is a single memory.

過ぎ去った街明かり　

Sugisatta machi akari

The lights of the town, now in the past,

行き交う人々が笑う

yukikau hitobito ga warau

people smile as they come and go.

二度と戻れない　

Nidoto modorenai

A voice that can never return

声が私を呼ぶ

koe ga watashi o yobu

calls to me.

Hikari no naka ni nemuru

My numberless sparkling wishes

無数の煌めく願いは

musū no kirameku negai wa

that sleep in the light

淡く輝いて　

awaku kagayaite

shine weakly

水に溶けていくの

mizu ni tokete yuku no

and dissolve away in the water.

透き通る水鏡　

Sukitōru mizukagami

Surface of crystal clear water,

あの日の空を映してよ

ano hi no sora o utsushite yo

show me the sky of that day,

蒼い幻想なら　

aoi gensō nara

for if it's a pallid illusion

もういらないから

mō iranai kara

I no longer need it.
