The sight I saw at dusk

今では空に消えた

ima de wa sora ni kieta

has now disappeared into the sky.

たくさんの記憶が揺れるよ

takusan no kioku ga yureru yo

Many memories quiver.

もうここには戻って来れない

mō koko ni wa modotte korenai

I cannot return here anymore.

暗闇の中でほら瞬くよ

kurayami no naka de hora matataku yo

Look, it shines in the midst of the darkness,

悲しく光るあの星が･･････

kanashiku hikaru ano hoshi ga ……

that sadly shining star …

夕闇見た世界

yūyami mita sekai

The world I saw in the evening twilight,

消えゆく日の灯火ともしび

kie yuku hi no tomoshibi

the torch of the fading day.

夢幻の世界をさまよい

mugen no sekai o samayoi

It wanders the world of dreams

今日ここで明日を探してる

kyō koko de ashita o sagashite'ru

and here, today, it is searching for tomorrow.

暗闇の中でさあ歩き出そう

kurayami no naka de sā arukidasō

I shall start walking, then, in the midst of the darkness,

優しく光るあの星へ･･････

yasashiku hikaru ano hoshi e ……

towards that kindly shining star …

夜空照らすmelody

yozora terasu melody

The melody that shines in the night sky

遠く彼方かなたで永久とわに響きあう

tōku kanata de towa ni hibikiau

resonates with it far away eternally.

かけがえのないこの時間ときを忘れずに

kakegae no nai kono toki o wasurezu ni

Without forgetting this irreplaceable moment,

希望溢れる夜明けを待とう

kibō afureru yoake o matō

I shall await the dawn that brims with hope.

そして遙か遠くに離れて･･････

soshite haruka tōku ni hanarete ……

Then, far away from here …

理想の大地を目指して行くよ

risō no daichi o mezashite yuku yo

I shall aim for the ideal land.
