White clouds travelling past

The town changes, people change;

atarashii hibi ga kimi o matsu yo

たわいもないことで傷付き

ダンボール積んだ部屋で一人

danbōru tsunda heya de hitori

Alone in a room piled with cardboard,

『頑張れ』と笑う　君思い出す

'ganbare' to warau kimi omoidasu

I remember you smiling and saying, 'Hang in there.'

慌ただしく過ぎる日々の中

awatadashiku sugiru hibi no naka

Among the busy days we spend

時に悔しさ　噛み締めるけど

toki ni kuyashisa kamishimeru kedo

There are times we reflect on our regrets.

桜の木々　花びら散って

sakura no kibi hanabira chitte

But the petals from the cherry trees have dispersed

それぞれの未来彩ってく

sorezore no mirai irodotte'ku

shedding colour on each person's future.

僕たちはまだ　夢の途中

bokutachi wa mada yume no tochū

We are in the midst of a dream.

涙はいつか宝石になる

namida wa itsuka hōseki ni naru

Our tears will someday become jewels.

The sky smiled.
