木漏れ日の下で

The days I spent with you sleeping softly

穏やかに眠る君と過ごした日々は

in the shade beneath the trees,

春の風のようで

haru no kaze no yō de

like the spring breeze,

甘い夢のようで

amai yume no yō de

like a sweet dream,

ただどこまでも優しくて

かけがえのない時間はゆるやかで

Kakegae no nai jikan wa yuruyaka de

That irreplaceable time, when life was easy,

いつまでも続いてゆくのだと

itsumademo tsuzuite yuku no da to

will always continue …

君を思うたびに

Kimi o omou tabi ni

When I think about you,

変わらないぬくもりが

kawaranai nukumori ga

a constant warmth

心を満たしてゆくよ

kokoro o mitashite yuku yo

fills my heart.

Though silent, the colour of the sky reflected in your eyes

ぜんぶやわらかに織り上げるように

The time we spent together bit by bit, warm

陽だまりにひたっていくようで

hidamari ni hitatte iku yō de

as if lit by the sun …

君に触れるたびに伝わるぬくもりが

Kimi ni fureru tabi ni tsutawaru nukumori ga

The warmth that comes to me whenever we touch

心を解かしてゆくよ

kokoro o tokashite yuku yo

melts my heart.

君がくれた幸せの数は

両手を広げたって抱えきれないほどで

ryōte o hirogetatte kakaekirenai hodo de

is too much to grasp even with my arms wide apart,

Although I think I notice you there, sleeping

眠っている気がするのに

nemutte iru ki ga suru no ni

beneath the sunlight flickering through the trees in the stirring breeze,

君を思うたびにあふれる涙を

kimi o omou tabi ni afureru namida o

whenever I think of you I wipe my welling tears

拭ってあるいてゆくよ

nugutte aruite yuku yo

and walk on.
