One teardrop fell down

暗い水の中、沈んでいった

and sank into dark waters.

ゆらり、ゆらりと、深い海の底

Yurari, yurari to, fukai umi no soko

Swaying slowly to bottom of the deep sea

私の心は沈んでいく

watashi no kokoro wa shizunde iku

my heart is sinking.

遠い浜辺から　誰かが呼だ

Tōi hamabe kara dareka ga yonda

From a distant beach, somebody called out,

懐かしくて優しい、その声

natsukashikute yasashii, sono koe

a kind voice I've missed.

だけど　あなたが「誰」か、思いだせなくで

Dakedo anata ga "dare" ka, omoidasenakute

However, I can't remember "who" you are,

私の心は　迷うばかり

watashi no kokoro wa mayou bakari

and my heart is simply puzzled.

少し、上を向いた

Sukoshi, ue o muita

I looked up a bit,

でも、まだ震えてる
