I read my book in a quiet carriage

濡れていた毛先が窓を指す

nurete ita kesaki ga mado o sasu

With my wet hair tips pointing to the window

外の世界へ行きたいの？

soto no sekai e ikitai no?

do I want to go to the world outside?

重い扉持ち上げて

omoi tobira mochiagete

Lifting up a heavy gate,

凍えた風がページをさらった

kogoeta kaze ga pēji o saratta

a freezing cold breeze whipped the pages of my book

雲を抜けて目に映るものは

kumo o nukete me ni utsuru mono wa

What met my eyes through the clouds

銀の海でした

gin no umi deshita

was a sea of silver

青い銀河を越えて旅をしよう
