toaru shiawase na bōkentan

is a certain happy adventure.

小さな街角の　歌好きな少年

chiisana machikado no uta-zuki na shōnen

A boy on a small street corner who liked to sing

満たされない日々だと言う

mitasarenai hibi da to iu

says he's dissatisfied with life.

理想の景色に出逢えたならと

risō no keshiki ni deata nara to

Thinking what if he could find an ideal place,

he departs on a journey by himself.

故郷を離れて

He left his hometown,

雨風を耐えて

amekaze o taete

endured the wind and rain,

いつだか聞いた　あの場所へ

and headed for a place he once heard of.

花の丘を超えて　

hana no oka o koete

He crossed flowery hills,

草原を駆けて

sōgen o kakete

raced through meadows,

れわたる青空　遠く眺めた

and gazed at the brilliant blue sky from afar.

He climbs fiery mountains,

is enthralled by lands covered in snow,

仰いだ空は変わらず遠く

aoida sora wa kawarazu tōku

the sky above distant as ever,

されど背負った歓声と　あの先へ

saredo seotta kansei to ano saki e

yet he is cheered on his way ahead.
