A bitter-sweet raspberry all melts straightaway

飲み込まない様に　ほろ苦ラズベリー

nomikomanai yō ni horoniga razuberī

in my mouth before I can swallow it.

物語はいつもメランコリー

Monogatari wa itsumo merankorī

The story is always melancholy.

甘い吐息で　惑わさないでよ

Amai toiki de madowasanaide yo

Don't mislead me with a sweet sigh.

いつの間にか霧は晴れて

Itsunomanika kiri wa harete

The fog cleared before I knew it,

ふざけたルールで　未開の大地へ

and with silly rules, on to an uncivilized land.
