静かに伸びていく影

shizuka ni nobite iku kage

and shadows quietly lengthen—

ひとりぼっちの影

hitoribotchi no kage

one lonely shadow.

A grey photograph of the two of us side by side—

思い出なぞれば　広がる情景

omoide nazoreba hirogaru joukei

if I follow the memory, the scene expands.

あの日に見た　夕焼けは

The evening glow I witnessed that day

いつもと同じはずでした

itsumo to onaji hazu deshita

hitomi tojite senaka awase
