空へと続いた　坂道駆け上がってく

Sora e to tsuzuita sakamichi kakeagatte'ku

I'm rushing up a hill that leads to the sky.

みんな　はしゃいでいた

Minna hashaide ita

Everyone was having fun.

丘の向こうに　広がる世界

Oka no mukō ni hirogaru sekai

Beyond the hill, the world spread out,

海と空　眺めてた

Umi to sora nagamete'ta

and I gazed at the sea and sky.

小さな夢のかけらのように

Chiisana yume no kakera no yō ni

Like pieces of a tiny dream

寄せては返す波に消えてく

yosete wa kaesu nami ni kiete'ku

they disappear into the ebb and flow of the waves.

帰り道に見た夕日も

Kaerimichi ni mita yūhi mo

Whether the sunset we saw on the way back

寝転んで見た星空も

nekoronde mita hoshizora mo

or the starry sky we saw when we lay down,

移ってゆく季節の中　ずっと

utsutte yuku kisetsu no naka zutto

throughout all the passing seasons

いつまでもいっしょだから

itsumademo issho da kara

we'll always be together.

小さな嵐が　通り過ぎていった

Chiisana arashi ga tōrisugite itta

A small storm came and went.

夏の日　寂しすぎて

Natsu no hi samishisugite

Summer days are too lonely.

ひとりぼっちで　たたずむ横に

hitoribotchi de tatazumu yoko ni

When I was by myself going nowhere

寄り添っていてくれた

yorisotte ite kureta

you came close beside me.

優しく包む夕凪のように

Yasashiku tsutsumu yūnagi no yō ni

Like being gently wrapped by the calm of the evening,

止まった時間　そっと動き出す

tomatta jikan sotto ugokidasu

time that stood still softly starts moving.

悲しすぎて泣いた夜も

Kanashisugite naita yoru mo

Whether nights when I'm so sad I cry

嬉しすぎて笑顔の朝も

ureshisugite egao no asa mo

or mornings when I'm so happy I smile,

変わってゆく町並みの中きっと

kawatte yuku machinami no naka kitto

in the changing townscape, surely

これからもいっしょだから

kore kara mo issho da kara

we'll be together from now on.

キラキラしてるこの瞬間を

Kirakira shite'ru kono shunkan o

Bit by bit, I want to go on gathering

少しずつ集めていきたい

sukoshi zutsu atsumete ikitai

these sparkling moments.
