曇り空雨の帳が下りて

雲をかきわけて

Pushing apart the clouds,

雨をひきさいて

ame o hikisaite

tearing a way through the rain,

空が覗く

sora ga nozoku

the sky peeps down.

高く高く全て青に染まる

takaku takaku subete ao ni somaru

In the spinning world, where high, high above,

廻る世界で

mawaru sekai de

all is stained in blue,

変わらないのは自分だけ

kawaranai no wa jibun dake

the only one that doesn't change is myself.

移り行く水の季節が過ぎて

utsuriyuku mizu no kisetsu ga sugite

The shifting season of water passes

鳥がうたう

tori ga utau

and birds sing.

透明の雫が残る木々を眺め

tōmei no shizuku ga nokoru kigi o nagame

I gazed at the trees where transparent droplets remain

口ずさんだ

kuchizusanda

and hummed.

夜が降りて光が落ちて

yoru ga orite hikari ga ochite

Night descended, the light sank,

映る景色がきらめいて見えた
