風が伝えた宝の存在

The wind tells of the existence of a treasure.

yuiitsumuni no hōseki o te ni ireru to

Desiring this one and only gemstone,

鞄かばんに宝石を詰め込んで旅に出た

she packed her gems in a bag and set off on a journey.

僕らを身に付け歩く彼女は

bokura o mi ni tsuke aruku kanojo wa

Wearing us, she walks

宝を求めて足取りは軽く

takara o motomete ashidori wa karuku

with a light gait seeking the treasure.

彼女が何処どこを目指しているかだなんて

As to where her goal lies,

we gems have no way to know.

旅路の末、辿り着いた薄暗い森

At the end of her journey, she arrives a gloomy forest.

For some reason we were placed in her bag.

彼女は宝を、と声高々に

She called for the treasure in a loud voice.

現れた精霊の表情に感情はなく

arawareta seirei no hyōjō ni kanjō wa naku

A spirit appeared without emotion in its expression.

刹那、森に響くは水の音

setsuna, mori ni hibiku wa mizu no oto

Instantly, the sound of water travels through the forest.

貴女あなたの声も姿も何処にもなくて

anata no koe mo sugata mo doko ni mo nakute

Neither your voice nor form were anywhere to be found.

ねぇ、どうして、僕らを残さないでよ

nē, dōshite, bokura o nokosanaide yo

Tell me why, do not leave us behind!

二つのコランダムの声は届かない

futatsu no korandamu no koe wa todokanai

But the voice of the two corundums did not reach her.

闇夜、空を瞬く星のように

yamiyo, sora o matataku hoshi no yō ni

As the stars that twinkle in the dark night sky,

いつか僕らも貴女あなたみたいになれたら

itsuka bokura mo anata mitai ni naretara

if the two of us could so become like you …

そんな叶わぬ願いを胸に秘めたまま

sonna kanawanu negai o mune ni himeta mama

With such an unfulfilled wish dwelling in our hearts

時だけが過ぎて、終わりが近づく

toki dake ga sugite, owari ga chikazuku

only time passes, the end nears.

僕らを救った温かな緑

bokura o sukutta atataka na midori

We are saved by a warm green one.

二つのコランダムは瞬く星に

futatsu no korandamu wa matataku hoshi ni

The two corundums become twinkling stars.

救いの光に与えられた役目を

sukui no hikari ni ataerareta yakume o

The role given us by the saving light

僕らは果たす、振り返らないために

bokura wa hatasu, furikaeranai tame ni

we shall fulfil in order that we don't look back.

いつか貴女あなたの星に出会えたら

itsuka anata no hoshi ni deatara

If we could someday encounter the star that is you,

その時は貴女あなたにまた煌めきをあげる

sono toki wa anata ni mata kirameki o ageru

at that time we will again give you sparkle.
