なんだって話し合った

We always discussed anything,

While gazing at the horizon

未知なる未来重ねてた

Having wanted for some time a broader

見たくなって描き出せば

mitaku natte egakidaseba

view of the world, when I used my imagination

I called it a dream.

It made me feel lonesome, but I knew

新しい希望見つけ

Having found a new hope,

走り出せば止められない

hashiridaseba tomerarenai

once we start running we can't stop.

転んでは流した血も　

koronde wa nagashita chi mo

The blood that flows when we fall

涙すべて糧になあれ

namida subete kate ni nāre

and all our tears help us grow.

この不安煽る風さえ　

kono fuan aoru kaze sae

The very wind which fans our worries

背中を押す追い風だよ

senaka o osu oikaze da yo

is a favourable breeze that urges us on.

俯けど花が咲いて　

utsumukedo hana ga saite

Even when cast down, good times lie ahead,

kimi mo machi mo sora mo mikata

with you, the town, the sky as allies.

signpost in a dark night.

amefuri susume

Proceed in rain.

嵐の中進め

Proceed in storm.

少し休憩　

sukoshi kyūkei

A short rest

だっていいんじゃない？

datte ii n ja nai?

is fine, isn't it?

届くように唄え　

todoku yō ni utae

Sing that we might reach our goal.

今宵は宴だ騒げ

koyoi wa utage da sawage

Tonight's a banquet so make merry.

僕等は弱気な自分と　

bokura wa yowaki na jibun to

We're saints that continue to fight

闘い続ける聖者

tatakaitsuzukeru seija

our weak selves.
