eguritsubureta nokoriga

the lingering scent of being gouged to death.

Taiyō ni subete o nozonda

I deeply expected the sun to grant me everything,

今も未来もただ深く

ima mo mirai mo tada fukaku

both the present and the future.

夢に見たはずの期待の扉

Yume ni mita hazu no kitai no tobira

The gateway to the hope which I thought I'd see in my dreams

最初からない泡沫へ

saisho kara nai utagata e

leads to a transience that never was.

Wareochiru yuiitsu no nasake

The sole mercy in falling to pieces:

with the sky cruelly dark,

何度見ても映らない鏡は

nando mite mo utsuranai kagami wa

the mirror that does not reflect however much I look

自分すら見えずに捨てられた

jibun sura miezu ni suterareta

I discard without even seeing myself.
