街を散歩していたら　

machi o sanpo shite itara

When going for a walk through town,

素敵な公園見つけたよ

I found a lovely park

色とりどりの花咲いて

with flowers blooming in all different colours

緑の絨毯じゅうたん広がって

and a green carpet spread out.

The spring sunshine felt so good

it made me think,

microwave a dinner from the convenience store,

and swallow the complaints I can't say to my boss

発泡酒で流し込む

happōshu de nagashikomu

with a can of beer.

今を捨てて何かを始める

Without the courage to let the present go

勇気なくて

and start something new,
