Gentō ni utsushidasare yurete iru matsuri no hi

The shaking lights projected from the festival,

一片ひとひらの花弁が掌たなごころに溶ける

hitohira no hanabira ga tanagokoro ni tokeru

a single petal melts in my palm.

耳をすませれば　ほら

Mimi o sumasereba hora

If I were to strain my ears

いつか聞こえてくるかな

itsuka kikoete kuru ka na

would I one day get to hear?

星の瞬きに　紛れた君を待つ

Hoshi no matataki ni magireta kimi o matsu

I wait for you who are lost among the twinkling of the stars.

古い地図の上なぞる指の先は

Furui chizu no ue nazoru yubi no saki wa

The tip of my finger tracing along the old map

きっと選べない未来を指し示す

kitto erabenai mirai o sashishimesu

幻想に彩られて遠ざかる祭りの音

Gensō ni irodorarete tōzakaru matsuri no oto

Coloured by illusions, the fading festive sounds

錆び付いて壊れかけのオルゴールが奏でるうた

sabitsuite kowarekake no orugōru ga kanaderu uta

are a song played by a rusty, half-broken music box.

声を枯らしても まだ

Koe o karashite mo mada

Even if my voice gets hoarse, still

届かない思いさえも

todokanai omoi sae mo

even unfulfilled wishes

時の行くままに　君の元へ巡る

toki no yuku mama ni kimi no moto e meguru

come around to you as time goes on.

深い明空の下

Fukai akezora no shita

Beneath the deep open sky

無音の闇を抜けて

muon no yami o nukete

I go through the silent darkness

僕は辿り着く

boku wa tadoritsuku

and finally reach

悲しみの先まで

kanashimi no saki made

the end of my suffering.

遠く彼方かなたに続く

Tōku kanata ni tsuzuku

All alone in the midst of time

時の中で一人きり

toki no naka de hitorikiri

that continues far into the distance,

星を行く船に　揺られて目を閉じる

hoshi o yuku fune ni yurarete me o tojiru

I close my eyes, rocking in a ship that travels the stars.
