今朝　見た夢の続き

Kesa mita yume no tsuzuki

The rest of the dream I had this morning—

誰かとなら

dareka to nara

if I am with someone,

叶えられそうだ

kanaeraresō da

it looks it will really happen.

そんな気がしてるんだ　ほら

Sonna ki ga shite'ru n da hora

That's what it seems like to me—have a look!

服着替えたら

Fuku kigaetara

As soon as I change my clothes,

窓から飛び出そう

mado kara tobidasō

I'll fly out the window

みんなのいる　場所へ

minna no iru basho e

to where everybody is.

どこまでも信号は

Doko made mo shingō wa

The signal flashes again today

今日もまばたき

kyō mo mabataki

to the ends of the earth,

つまづく事に怯え

tsumazuku koto ni obie

but, afraid of stumbling,

走れない

hashirenai

I cannot run.

空が笑うまで

Sora ga warau made

Even if I wait until the sky smiles

待っても遅くない

matte mo osoku nai

I won't be late.

踏み出す勇気だけが

Fumidasu yūki dake ga

Just enough courage to take a step

翼になる！

tsubasa ni naru!

will turn into wings!

諦めて立ち止まったら

Akiramete tachidomattara

If I give up and stand still

うしろからキミが蹴ってくれるでしょ？

ushiro kara kimi ga kette kureru desho?

you'll come an kick me from behind, won't you?

わかってるよ　

Wakatte'ru yo

I get it.

そんなこと　言わなくても

Sonna koto iwanakute mo

Even if I don't say as much,

I still get it.

ありふれたことの　幸せだとか

They say it's the happiness of ordinary life,

くりかえす穏やかな日々の中で

Awoken from my dream,

また夢を見ているから

mata yume o mite iru kara

I'm still dreaming,

寝坊しちゃうのかな･･･

so maybe I'm sleeping in …

目まぐるしく過ぎてゆく

Memagurushiku sugite yuku

In a hectic,

喧騒の午後に

kensō no gogo ni

noise-filled afternoon

立ち止まって

tachidomatte

I stopped still

今此処ここがワカラナイ

ima koko ga wakaranai

and I don't know where I am now.

雲を突き抜けて

Kumo o tsukinukete

Piercing the clouds

闇を切り裂いて

yami o kirisaite

and ripping open the darkness,

無謀な勇気だって

mubō na yūki datte

even reckless courage

翼になる！！

tsubasa ni naru!!

turns into wings!!

打ち寄せる波の彼方かなたへ

Uchiyoseru nami no kanata e

Beyond the crashing waves,

夢現

yumeutsutsu

half-dreaming,

月堕ちまた日は昇る

tsuki ochi mata hi wa noboru

the moon sets and the sun rises again.

わかってるでしょ？

Wakatte'ru desho?

You know it, don't you?

そんなこと　言わなくても

Sonna koto iwanakute mo

Even without being told

最初から　わかってたんでしょ？

saisho kara wakatte'ta n desho?

you knew it from the start, didn't you?

Itsuka mita namida kotoba no imi ga

The meaning of the tears and words I once saw

今でもこの胸に　焼きついてる

ima de mo kono mune ni yakitsuite'ru

are even now still seared into my heart.

朽ちて　破れた

Kuchite yabureta

If I gather up

羽根を拾い集めて

hane o hiroiatsumete

the decayed and torn feathers,

ふたたび飛び立つため

futatabi tobitatsu tame

turn into wings

翼になれ！！

tsubasa ni nare!!

so that I can take off once again!!

沢山の星を超えたら

Takusan no hoshi o koetara

If I go past the numerous stars

その先に広がる　永遠で

sono saki ni hirogaru eien de

to the eternity that spreads out beyond them,

抱き合って　キスをする

dakiatte kisu o suru

we will hug and kiss

夢の途中

yume no tochū

in the midst of a dream,

昨日までの夢の中

kinō made no yume no naka

in yesterday's dream.
