雪が降る　そんな季節がまた

It's snowing. That season again …

窓の外　静かに降り始める

mado no soto shizuka ni furihajimeru

Outside the window, it quietly starts to snow.

雪の夜　一粒の涙が窓を伝う

yuki no yoru hitotsubu no namida ga mado o tsutau

On a snowy evening, a single teardrop drips down the window.

街灯で照らされた向こう側　

gaitō de terasareta mukōgawa

Across the street, lit by streetlamps,

淡く光るその光

awaku hikaru sono hikari

light glistens faintly.

雪月花の奇跡をもう一度

setsugekka no kiseki o mō ichido

The miracle of the shifting seasons once more

凍えるような雪の夜

kogoeru yō na yuki no yoru

brings a freezing, snowy night.

そう　答え出した時にもまた

sō kotaedashita toki ni mo mata

雪の朝には街の色が　

yuki no asa ni wa machi no iro ga

On the snowy morning, all the town's colour

will be changing to pure white.

we're being enveloped by snow.

落葉樹の森に足跡が

rakuyōju no mori ni ashiato ga

In the deciduous forest of life, our footsteps

どこまでも伸びてゆく

doko made mo nobite yuku

will extend indefinitely.

そう　つまらなくて諦めてたものも

sō tsumaranakute akiramete'ta mono mo

That way, even trifles we've given up

また光り出す

mata hikaridasu

will again start to shine.

答えはいつも心の中　

kotae wa itsumo kokoro no naka

The answer is always in my heart.
