I send a yell at my departure that no longer stops ringing out

while trembling a little at the endlessness

果てしなさ　少し震えたまま

hateshinasa sukoshi furueta mama

of the land on which I tread.

幼い頃に見た

osanai koro ni mita

Is the crystal clear wind

透き通った風は　まだ吹いてますか。

sukitōtta kaze wa mada fuite'masu ka.

I saw when I was young still blowing?

奏でて、紡ぎだす

kanadete, tsumugidasu

Do you still hear the tones

音色はまだ聴こえていますか。

neiro wa mada kikoete imasu ka.

変わり果てた　終焉おわりを告げたセカイから

kawarihateta owari o tsugeta sekai kara

From the completely altered world that spelled the end

生まれいずる　いま産声を上げたセカイまで

umareizuru ima ubugoe o ageta sekai made

to the world where I came into being and raised my first cry ...

眩しい朝の陽に

mabushii asa no hi ni

In the dazzling morning sunlight,

今のボクには何も出来ないケド

ima no boku ni wa nani mo dekinai kedo

as I am now I cannot do anything

新しく懐かしい、

atarashiku natsukashii,

but to this new, familiar,

名もなきこの想いに「おはよう。」

namonaki kono omoi ni "ohayō."

unnamed feeling I utter, "Good morning."

歩みだした一歩

My first step

歩幅は決して大きくないケド

hohaba wa kesshite ōkiku nai kedo

certainly is a small one

ずっと　自分らしく

zutto jibun rashiku

but I want to keep going

まっすぐに道を　貫きたい

massugu ni michi o tsuranukitai

on this path in my own way.

譲れなくて　雨に飛び出した別れも

yuzurenakute ame ni tobidashita wakare mo

It's a farewell where unable to concede I ran out into the rain,

泣きたいほどの優しさに怯えてた　出会いも

nakitai hodo no yasashisa ni obiete'ta deai mo

and an encounter where I was scared of a kindness that would make me want to cry.

僅かな、確実な

wazuka na, kakujitsu na

A light illuminates the meagre, certain beginning

奇跡を願ったはじまりを照らす

kiseki o negatta hajimari o terasu

that wished for a miracle.

光の射すほうが

hikari no sasu hō ga

Surely where it shines
